These recipes offer a delicious mix of new and old world flavors. From the kitchens of my mother and grandmother in Transylvania to the new fusion mixes from my home kitchen in Canada. I have been inspired by the fickle tastes of my children ( vegetarian, pescatarian or whichever way the wind may blow) and my desire to become healthier without compromising taste. ARTICHOKE DIP

Jennifer Chapman’s recipe, Halifax


1 can (8oz) of artichoke hears,
3/4 of a cup of mayonnaise,
2 crushed cloves of garlic,
3/4 of a cup of parmesan chees.

Mix them all togheter after you have cut the artichoke hearts fairly finely. Then bake them in a 375F owen for 15 to 20 min until the crust is a little golden.
