I have been inspired by the fickle tastes of my children ( vegetarian, pescatarian or whichever way the wind may blow) and my desire to become healthier without compromising taste. BERMUDA BANANA BREAD

Roxana Mio’s recipe, Halifax. It is very easy to make and very good.

1/2 cup shortening or margarin
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
3 or more bananas crushed
2 cup flour
1 tsp baking soda dissolved in a little water
1/4 cup nut meats if desired

Mix in order given and bake at 350F for 40 min.
